Just as the Cadillac CTS reaches top sales figures for the American auto maker, Cadillac has released official images and specs on the upcoming 2013 Cadillac XTS. This vehicle has been talked about for months, and rumors rage on, wondering what kind of drivetrain this vehicle will have, along with its official release date.

Images of the XTS reveal a larger front end and chrome grille. This hefty compartment will most likely house a variety of V6 and turbocharged engines, as well as the obvious hybrid option. Stay tuned for more on the latest Cadillac models!

Cadillac is reporting its new large luxury sedan will be offered in both front wheel and all wheel drive (FWD / AWD). These options can be decided upon when shopping at dealers like Motor Werks Cadillac of Barrington - 206 N Cook St in Barrington, IL 60010.

Also, the car will be released to dealerships in "late 2012" - making the XTS a 2013 model.¹

This is the first completely new and original model Caddy has released since the 2009 Cadillac SRX Crossover came out in late 2008.
